WELCOME TO THE LÄND-GHANA BUSINESS FORUM

On the evening of 30 March 2026, the German national football team will face Ghana in a friendly match in Stuttgart as part of both teams preparations for the 2026 World Cup. This match provides the perfect occasion to turn the spotlight on Ghana — not only on but also beyond the pitch.

From 2:00 to 6:00 PM on 30 March, the THE LÄND–Ghana Business Forum will explore Ghana as a dynamic and promising economic partner.

Ghana is widely regarded as a political anchor of stability in West Africa and maintains strong ties with Germany. At the same time, it is an increasingly attractive market offering significant opportunities for companies from Baden-Württemberg. Through expert presentations and contributions from a wide range of Ghanaian voices, the forum will provide in-depth insights into the country’s economic and political framework conditions, its business culture, and its potential as an investment location. Particular attention will be given to the healthcare, automotive and manufacturing sectors, including practical experiences shared by German companies already operating in Ghana.

The event is aimed at companies and institutions from Baden-Württemberg with an interest in the Ghanaian market and in business opportunities in Ghana.

The THE LÄND-Ghana Business Forum also marks the kick-off event of the new event series “THE LÄND: Focus on Africa.” Each edition will spotlight a different African country and provide insights into current economic and political developments as well as promising sectors for companies from Baden-Württemberg.

What to expect:
  • Comprehensive insights into Ghana’s economic landscape, political framework conditions, business culture, and its role as a business and investment location
  • Practical perspectives on market opportunities and business potential, with a special focus on healthcarea, automotive and manufacturing.
  • Panel discussions featuring German companies already active in Ghana, sharing first-hand experiences
