WELCOME TO THE LÄND-SOUTHERN AFRICA BUSINESS FORUM: OPPORTUNITIES & APPROACHES IN NAMIBIA, BOTSWANA & ZAMBIA

On Monday, 6 July, from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, the second event in this year’s “THE LÄND: Focus on Africa” series will spotlight three dynamic and promising markets in Southern Africa: Namibia, Botswana and Zambia.

All three countries are members of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and are widely recognized as politically stable democracies with growing economic potential. For companies from Baden-Württemberg seeking to expand their international engagement, the region offers attractive opportunities, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, green industrialization and agribusiness.

The forum will provide valuable insights into the economic and political landscape of the SADC region, with a special focus on the three countries at the center of the event. Through expert presentations, panel discussions and networking, participants will gain a deeper understanding of market opportunities, investment potential and current developments in the region. German companies already active in the region will share first-hand experiences and practical insights into doing business in Southern Africa.

A special highlight of the event will be the participation of a Namibian business delegation consisting of 13 companies from the fields of hydrogen, solar energy, water management, construction and training. The forum offers a unique opportunity for companies from Baden-Württemberg to meet these businesses, establish valuable contacts and explore potential partnerships with key stakeholders from Namibia.

The event is aimed at companies and institutions from Baden-Württemberg interested in Southern Africa and in exploring business opportunities across the region.

The THE LÄND: Southern Africa Business Forum will take place at the Hospitalhof Stuttgart (Büchsenstraße, 70174 Stuttgart) and forms the second edition of the event series “THE LÄND: Focus on Africa”, which highlights selected African markets and their economic potential for Baden-Württemberg companies.
